The Santa Fe to Taos Thru-Hike

The Santa Fe to Taos thru-hike goes from the Santa Fe Plaza all the way to Taos Plaza over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. It is 132 miles long, spans four counties – Santa Fe, Rio Arriba, Mora, and Taos – and crosses the Santa Fe National Forest, The Pecos Wilderness, and Carson National Forest.

We have Gaia GPS maps documenting every step of the thru-hike.

The Trail Riders Wall

The lines in this photograph are because the photo function of my phone failed the first time I crossed the TrailRider's wall (you'll read more about me and Murphy later, perhaps). But my phone still worked, and the photo function still showed this view. So I took a screenshot. This is a screenshot, not a photo. Doesn't matter. Still makes my heart beat faster seeing this.
