“Where is the resupply?”

The resupply is at the Tres Ritos Lodge storage units off Route 518, about 3 miles west of Sipapu Ski & Summer Resort. It’s the unit just to the left of the sign for the storage units. Here’s a photo of what it looks like:

You will need the code for the front door of the resupply. It is 0106.

PLEASE do not share this code. I do not have insurance for the resupply.

There’s a short video here (https://youtu.be/MhJHXOE1hBY?si=j_g7jlLmzz3cNcn0) about what’s in the resupply that might be helpful and let you know what to expect. I have also recently added a lot of pain medications and gels, cold and flu and allergy meds, plus first aid items. Most of these are in travel-sized containers.

If you take an item from the resupply, please let me know. I do charge for items taken from the resupply, but only at cost. I won’t nickle and dime you; but it is helpful to be able to keep the resupply stocked and not drain the thru-hike’s financial resources. Payment for items can be done through Venmo or PayPal. Please don’t leave cash in the resupply.

There is no overnight sleeping or camping in the resupply. The resupply also has no bathrooms, and there are no bathrooms near the resupply. We do also have neighbors, so it’s a bad look to have SF2T members relieving themselves around the resupply. I realize not having bathrooms is a problem, but for right now this is the only setup available. I am actively looking for a rental in Tres Ritos so we can have better facilities to work with.

If you happen to be driving to the resupply to drop off your box, Sipapu has good, clean, large bathrooms available. The entrance to the bathrooms is around the back side of the building, near the corner on the parking lot side. Please consider buying something at Sipapu (from their food truck or from the store). It’s appreciated.

Please do not sleep/camp in neighbor’s lawns or yards. Please do not ask neighbors for their permission to do this. I realize you’re tired. I’m sorry I can’t offer lodging at this time. But it is imperative for us to be good neighbors and not make people uncomfortable. It is awkward for neighbors to have to decline a request like this. Please do not put them in an awkward situation.
