Finisher program

Have you completed the Santa Fe to Taos Trail? Would you like some recognition? Then the finisher program is for you.

Here’s how it works:

Send me an email (contact@santafetotaos.org) with:

  • Some reasonable documentation that you completed the full route. You don’t have to have done the Santa Fe to Taos Trail all at once, or to have done it even within one year. “Reasonable documentation” could be a gpx file, a few photos… something. Or just send an email and describe your experience of doing and then completing the route. Describe the route in your own words and your experience on it and of it. Add photos if you want.
  • Your full name (and your trail name, if you want).
  • Your mailing address.
  • Your t-shirt size.
  • When you started and finished the route.
  • If you did it all at once, or not. Or if you did it in non-sequential pieces (like you did Section 2, then Section 6, etc).
  • One to ten photos of your hike.
  • A paragraph to up to 1,500 words of your experience of the Santa Fe to Taos Trail.
  • If at all possible, at least a $35 donation. Just the t-shirt costs $20 plus $6 to mail it to you. If you possibly can, $50 or more really would help. That would cover the other costs of printing, keeping the lights on while I assemble your package, and paying for the software to design the materials. Sorry to press on this ask, but life is expensive (as you know). If $35 is a sacrifice, even $20 helps with morale… and with our ability to continue to facilitate the SF2T.

and I will:

  • Send you a t-shirt celebrating your completed trek. Like this:
  • Set up a page on this website to showcase your photos, when you did the SF2T, and your description of your trip.
  • If you want the privacy, I am AOK with just including your first name and the last initial of your last name.

In addition to getting yourself a little recognition (you’ve earned it!), participating in the finisher program means you’ll be helping the Santa Fe to Taos Trail gain support and funding. And inspiring other people to take on the challenge. 💪
