It was an amazing experience! We had the most fun. We saw so much wildlife – from horned lizards to hummingbirds and from marmots to elk. We listened to coyotes howl in the evening and woke up with the sunrise. We experienced hail, torrential rain, and warm sun. We stopped to smell the bark of ponderosa pines and admired the flowers on cacti. Though it was a short trail, it left a mark on me and I’ll remember it always. – Emily Clifford
