You have successfully booked your SF2T members’ parking space in Santa Fe.
You’ll need a parking placard
Next thing to do is to get the parking placard to you.
- If we aren’t too busy when you arrive, we can just mail your placard to you.
- We also have a team of volunteers (❤️!) who can hand-deliver placards (so this system is not dependent on Pam).
- We *might* be able to leave placards for you at the Guadalupe UPS store, where SF2T has an account. Pam will check this asap.
For now, let’s just be glad your parking space is reserved.
Just so you know… in the event of a total failure of the current parking system, Pam lives on eight acres within a 13-minute drive of the SF Plaza. That’s our backup in case the church thing collapses somehow. Not expecting that to happen, but… weird things happen. Someone drove a car into the UPS store we use for box drop offs last year – weird things happen. Pam’s house has space for ten vehicles at a time. To be specific: Enough space for 10 cars, pickup trucks, or vans. Not enough space for ten 20-foot airstreams. But hopefully we won’t even have to think about that. Again: Not expecting the church parking lot system to fail. They’re lovely people, they’re competent, they keep their word, and they have a massive, largely-unused, reasonably-secure parking lot. Have faith.
